Chocolate Chip Walnut Banana Muffins

These super chewy and moist banana muffins were a hit at my house & super easy to make. You can use this batter in a bread pan or muffin pan.

These muffins have both chocolate chips and walnuts in them, but if you don't like either of those you can leave them out.

Chocolate Chip Walnut Banana Muffins

Ingredients

Everything You'll Need:

  • 4 ripe bananas

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 3/4 cup flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

  • 1 cup walnuts (roughly chopped)

Directions

Steps:

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees

  2. Cream together your butter and your sugar. Add your vanilla extract and eggs and continue to mix until well incorporated

  3. Add your flour, salt, baking soda and ripe bananas and beat until a MOSTLY smooth batter forms. Little banana chunks are OK and we want those to give us a chewy consistency

  4. Fold in your chocolate chips as well as your walnuts

  5. Add your batter to your muffin pan or a loaf pan. For muffin pans bake at 350 for 22 minutes. For a loaf bake for 45-55 minutes.

  6. Serve warm and enjoy!
