The BEST Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- ยพ cup + 2 tbsp of butter
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 ยฝ cups flour
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
- ยฝ cup sugar
- 1 cup + 2tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Flakey salt for topping
Instructions
- Start by preheating your oven to 375.
- Grab your butter and place in a small pan over medium heat and brown it until itโs lightly amber colored (4-8 minutes).
- In a stand mixer add in your browned butter, and sugars and cream them together for 2 minutes. Follow in with your vanilla extract and eggs.
- Mix in the rest of your dry ingredients and then fold in your chocolate chips.
- Scoop your cookie dough into small balls (3-4tbsp worth) and then place on a baking sheet and bake for 12-13 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes then enjoy!
