Authentic Italian Pastina
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups pastina
- 4 cups chicken stock
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese - plus more to garnish
- ¼ tsp parsley - to garnish
- ¼ tsp pepper - ground
- ¼ tsp salt - sea
- 2 cloves garlic - diced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Start by adding your olive oil and garlic to a sauce pan over medium heat and sauté until fragrant.2 tbsp olive oil, 2 cloves garlic
- Add in your chicken stock and bring to a simmer, once simmering add in your pastina and let this simmer over low heat until most the stock is absorbed.1 1/2 cups pastina, 4 cups chicken stock, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1/4 tsp salt
- Once all the stock is absorbed mix in your parmesan cheese and enjoy!1/4 cup parmesan cheese, 1/4 tsp parsley
