Apple Cider Donut Cake
Ingredients
- 1 cup apple cider
- ยฝ cup apple butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- ยผ cup vegetable oil
- ยฝ cup butter - softened
- 2 ยฝ cup flour
- 1 ยฝ tsp baking powder
- ยฝ tsp baking soda
- ยพ cup sugar
- ยผ cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- ยพ tsp ground ginger
- ยฝ tsp salt
- ยฝ tsp nutmeg
- ยผ cup cinnamon sugar - to sprinkle on top
- ยผ cup butter - melted for topping
Instructions
- Start by pre heating your oven to 350ยฐF.
- In a large bowl combine your sugars, oil and butter and mix until fully combined.1/4 cup vegetable oil, 3/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup butter
- Add in your eggs and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.2 eggs, 2 tsp vanilla extract
- Follow in with your apple cider, apple butter, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ground ginger, and nutmeg. Mix until you have a smooth batter.1 cup apple cider, 1/2 cup apple butter, 2 1/2 cup flour , 1 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 2 tsp cinnamon, 3/4 tsp ground ginger, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- Transfer the batter to a greased bundt pan and place in the oven for 45-55 minutes.
- Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before removing from the bundt pan. While the cake is still warm brush very lightly with some melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.1/4 cup butter, 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar
- Serve this cake warm with some fresh whipped cream and enjoy!
