Puff Pastry Cream Horns

This classic dessert is actually so easy to make and they always look so pretty! Definitely something to try!

Ingredients  

  • 2 sheets Puff Pastry
  • ยผ cup Egg Wash - 1 Large Egg + 1 tbsp Water
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • ยผ cup Powdered Sugar - Plus More For Dusting

Instructions

  • Start by pre heating your oven to 400ยฐF
  • Roll out your puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured work surface and using a pizza roller, roll your puff pastry sheets into 8 even strips. Repeat this with both puff pastry sheets.
    2 sheets Puff Pastry
  • Across 1/2 the long strips brush some egg wash on and then roll this around your cream horn molds. Repeat this step with all 16 pieces of puff pastry.
    1/4 cup Egg Wash
  • Brush the cream horns with egg wash and bake in the oven at 400ยฐF for 20 minutes. As soon as they're done baking remove the molds from inside the cream horns gently. This requires using an oven mit.
  • Let your puff pastry horns cool down on a wire wrack. Whilst they cool whip your heavy cream and powdered sugar together in the bowl of a stand mixer until whipped cream forms.
    1 cup Heavy Cream, 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar
  • Transfer your whipped cream into a piping bag and pipe it into your cream horns. Lastly dust with powdered sugar and enjoy!
