Chinese Pork Meatballs

These easy to make tasty meatballs are so good and can be made in less than 30 minutes. They’re backed with flavor and have a rich sauce that really helps bring them to life! The best part is how quick they come together!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1.5 inch knob of ginger finely minced
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp 5 spice
  • oil for frying
  • green onions for topping
  • 3 tbsp sriracha
  • 3 tbsp fish sauce
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice wine vinegar

Instructions

  • Start by combining your pork, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, soy sauce, 5 spice, and corn starch in a large bowl and mixing it together until fully combined.
  • Roll your meat mixture into a bunch of small meat balls. Once they’re all rolled up heat a heavy bottomed stainless steel or cast iron pan over medium heat, add your oil and sear your meat balls on all sides.
  • Whilst your meatballs are searing coming all your sauce ingredients in a sauce pan and heat over low-medium heat until it’s nice and thick.
  • Lastly top your cooked meatballs with the sauce and enjoy!
