Chinese Pork Meatballs
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1.5 inch knob of ginger finely minced
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp 5 spice
- oil for frying
- green onions for topping
- 3 tbsp sriracha
- 3 tbsp fish sauce
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
Instructions
- Start by combining your pork, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, soy sauce, 5 spice, and corn starch in a large bowl and mixing it together until fully combined.
- Roll your meat mixture into a bunch of small meat balls. Once theyโre all rolled up heat a heavy bottomed stainless steel or cast iron pan over medium heat, add your oil and sear your meat balls on all sides.
- Whilst your meatballs are searing coming all your sauce ingredients in a sauce pan and heat over low-medium heat until itโs nice and thick.
- Lastly top your cooked meatballs with the sauce and enjoy!
