Chewy Chocolate Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
- ยฝ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tbsp molasses
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- ยผ cup sugar
- ยพ cups brown sugar
- ยพ cup softened room temp butter
- โ cup sugar - To coat your cookie dough balls in!
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325ยฐF
- In a mixer cream together your butter and sugars. Follow in with your egg, vanilla extract and molasses.
- Now add in your flour, cocoa powder and baking soda. Mix this until a cookie dough forms.
- Roll your cookie dough into small 1.5 inch balls and coat in your sugar and place on a baking sheet and bake at 325ยฐF for 10 minutes.
- Let cookies cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire wrack. Enjoy!
