Super Squishy Pumpkin Dinner Rolls

These delicious & easy dinner rolls are the ultimate side dish. Unlike other breads this recipe is so easy. You throw everything into a mixer give it a mix & then let it proof then bake!

Ingredients

  • 5 cups flour
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 5 tbsp butter softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup warmed milk 105° F
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 ½ tbsp instant yeast
  • cup brown sugar

Instructions

  • Place all your ingredients into a stand mixer with the dough hook attachment and mix until you have a smooth elastic dough. (5-7 minutes).
  • Transfer this dough to a large greased bowl and let proof till doubled in size. (45 minutes).
  • Slice your dough into small roll sized pieces (roughly 18 small balls) and place in a 9x13 baking dish and let proof for 1 hour.
  • Whilst the dough proofs pre heat oven to 375° and bake for 12 minutes. (Optionally brush with butter before baking and top with flakey salt)
  • Let rolls cool for 4 minutes before removing from the baking dish and enjoying them warm!
