Spiced Apple Cider Cookies

Ingredients  

  • 1 cup of spiced apple cider - Reduced to 5tbsp
  • 1 egg
  • ยฝ cup brown sugar
  • ยผ cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ยฝ cup SOFTENED butter
  • ยฝ tsp baking soda
  • ยฝ tsp salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of nutmeg

-Toppings-

  • ยฝ cup cinnamon sugar

-Glaze-

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-4 tbsp of milk

Instructions

  • Pre heat oven to 350ยฐF
  • Cream together butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, egg and 2 tbsp of reduced apple cider, until smooth.
  • Add in your flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg and fold it until a cookie dough forms.
  • Roll your cookie dough into some balls and then coat in your cinnamon sugar and place on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
  • while the cookies are baking mixed together, your powdered sugar and milk until you reach an icing consistency once the cookies are out of the oven coat with the icing and enjoy!
